Who This Is For
You need clarity, practical patterns, and a view of what already works elsewhere — and how to apply it in your unique workplace.
The data team was built for pipelines and reports. Now it is expected to deploy agents, own context, and enable the whole company to build — with the same people and the same budget.
The AI engineer profile you need is scarce and expensive. Meanwhile, people already on your team could grow into it — if you knew who, and how to make it happen.
Product management, analytics and build capability are coming together: three jobs are becoming one. That is exciting for the person growing into the role, and frightening for those who are not. As the leader, you have to hold both reactions in the same room.
Leadership wants results. Your peers have their own priorities. The works council has questions. And you are expected to hold it all together through the change.
Almost nobody has done this before. There is no playbook to copy, and the people you would normally ask are asking you instead.
We don’t claim to have all the answers. Together with our partners and community of data & AI leaders, we do have clarity on many of these questions.
“This event was the ultimate investment for my career development and for my success as a data leader.”
Information is one click away, but it’s never enterprise-ready. In one focused afternoon in Munich, you’ll leave with:
Cross-functional teams, business functions with data & AI talent embedded, and one central team that owns the platform, guardrails and governance underneath both.
Why it matters: Most reorganisations are still choosing between centralised and federated. This model moves the conversation beyond that choice and towards the new reality.
Data engineers become platform engineers. Data scientists may become forward deployed AI engineers. Analysts may own the semantic layer or remain analysts. Governance managers take on AI, while traditional data governance remains relevant. Product managers continue to bridge business and technology.
Why it matters: These shifts were overdue before agents arrived. Agents removed the option to delay them. Leaders need clarity on the moves, the choices and when to make them.
Product manager, engineer and analyst used to be three people. With AI support, they become one role that talks to the business, builds and rebuilds business processes, and owns the context behind them: the forward deployed AI engineer (FDE).
Why it matters: This is one of the scarcest profiles on the market, so you will often need to grow your own talent. Other critical roles are emerging too — this is the time to anticipate them.
Take a real workflow and map every step across four categories: human-only, AI-assisted, agent-led and agent-only. Then budget for agents the way you budget for people.
Why it matters: It turns “Will AI replace roles?” into precise questions: which step, and who decides? Apply this to roles, skills and processes — not to people themselves — to separate talent from its function.
A curated group of senior Data & AI leaders. Every person in the room is at your level or above.
Senior data, AI, technology and business leaders responsible for AI transformation in their organisations — including Heads of, Directors, VPs and C-level executives. The afternoon focuses on how to reshape teams, roles and workflows as people and AI agents work together.
