Governance that enables BI: from project mode to productized value

With a retail/convenience group we flipped the script by creating fast-track movement: 

• Shorter rhythm, cleaner planning → quick operational check-ins for momentum, with targeted deep dives for real decisions. 

• One focused workshop → decide on the semantic approach, not admire the problem. 

• Outside expertise where it accelerates learning for current BI landscape. 

Result: understood semantics and next steps, a data productization shortlist, and less debate where to move and what to prioritize. Governance became an enabler for BI, not a hurdle.
